Small of the Wild (dubbed in Quebec as La tempête de neige) is the eleventh episode of the second season in Canada and the thirty-sixth episode of the first season in the United States.

Plot[]

George and Becky prepare for the worst and attempt to save a yard full of animals when a bad winter storm comes around.

Summary[]

The episode starts off with George and Becky getting prepared for the upcoming winter storm. They decided to help the animals survive the cold. First, they noticed Goldie the Fish hibernating in the pond. Then, they give the squirrels some nuts and the squirrel gave George a berry. Then, they saw a rabbit and a baby rabbit.

But, then, they heard a snap and realized that the birdhouse is gonna fall. So, they decided to make a snow pile to soften the birdhouse. The birds evacuate and the birdhouse falls. Although, the snowpile soften the fall, the birdhouse broke. So, they decided to use Becky's old dollhouse for the new home for the birds.

The forecasters told everyone that when they're out and about, they need to head on home. But, if they're home, that's good and told them to stay there. Harold is looking for the handcrank generator in the basement.

They decided to give Sparkle Tangerine some food. Just then, the storm began and Becky and George hurried inside.

Once again, Harold found the handcrank generator. But, then, the power went out. George asked dad how long will it take him to get that generator up and running.

George's mom brought out flashlights. Just then, Russell Copeland appeared. He explained that he was unprepared and hurried to the store to get supplies, but, on his way home, the traffic lights stopped working and the snow is clogging the roads, so, he's gonna wait out the storm with the Shrinks and Becky. Suddenly, they hear beeping and George realized that it was an open door alarm and that the wind blew the door open. George was able to reel the door closed.

Suddenly, they hear crackling noises and that the tree is uprooting and then, Timber! The tree fell and landed on the hotel. George calls to Mom and Dad that there was an emergency involving a tree.

The storm has eased up a little bit and together, they rescued the animals from the falling tree.

Once the storm stopped, the animals are resting. George apologizes for the tree falling. Russell tells George that when spring comes, they'll plant a tree. Eventually, Harold found the problem with the generator and soon, he got it to work and it lighted up the neighbourhood as well.
